Who we act for – SMEs
We work with many smaller and growing companies including business owners/managers particularly those located in the Home Counties. We find these businesses often do not have their own in-house legal support and may find access to high quality legal advice a problem.
For example, the sorts of areas we can assist you with if you are a SME are:
- providing initial advice on the basics of IPR protection or confidentiality
- producing a standard set of terms and conditions for your business or helping with a reseller or distribution agreement
- in the longer term, helping with more complex, valuable ‘one-off’ projects
- being involved with important negotiations with larger suppliers/customers or business partners to ensure you understand your obligations and there is a more even playing field
- even if scope for negotiating the contract is limited, explaining what legal terminology means and helping you to evaluate the risks arising from the contract
We value the relationships that we have with SMEs. We hope to become a trusted long-term advisor to you, helping your business through every stage of its development.
Our advice can be very valuable if your business is to grow successfully and key mistakes are to be avoided at a critical stage which could inhibit growth or the value of the company in the longer term. Becoming a key member of your team and assisting the management of the business is our goal even though we are an external resource. We appreciate that value for money is very important to you as is certainty of cost.
“We have received an excellent service from TRG law... Their service has always been friendly, attentive and their turn-around times impressively fast. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.”
